Located at 66 Cooney Road, Bli Bli and on Behalf of Sunshine Coast Regional Council (SCRC) this project was for a Material Recovery Facility. This MRF is one small part of the larger Nambour Landfill expansion.
Civity has played an important strategic planning advisory role in the delivery of the Sunshine Coast regional waste precinct, located in Nambour. This development was critical to Council’s long-term approach to waste management across the Sunshine Coast Council region. The development approval that Civity facilitated will allow Council to tailor waste management solutions that increase regional capacity, whilst allowing for the co-location of facilities to provide long-term sustainable outcomes focused on best practice waste management and the recovery and reuse of resources.
