Martin garred


Having held executive roles in both State and Local government within Australia, Martin is a respected advisor to government, particularly in the fields of strategic planning, growth management and economic development. He encourages and supports lateral and progressive thinking - inspiring creative solutions to urban and regional growth challenges and producing evidence-based policy development.

Martin’s broad range of experience covers a diverse spectrum of strategic planning disciplines, including local government plan making, housing, design guidelines, climate change and community engagement.


During his career, Martin's project facilitation roles have often required a high level of collaboration with elected representatives, demonstrating his ability to provide high level technical leadership associated with major policy and project deliverables.

Martin is committed to innovative and outcome focused planning solutions and enjoys driving projects from inception to completion.

Martin holds a Bachelor of Urban Development (Urban and Regional Planning) from the Queensland University of Technology.
